Zinzie Cakes  is a small home- based cake business in Faversham, Kent, with a focus on an ever-changing menu from many different sources and influences.

There is an emphasis on flavour combinations, experimentation based on lots of research and also really good ingredients.

All cakes on my stall are made with organic eggs from Woodpecker Farm in Chilham, all chocolate used is of a high quality.
Where possible, any fresh fruit used is local, all of my baked goods (with the exception of gluten free) contain organic flour. 

Recipes from other countries are a great inspiration (such as Panforte from Italy; Toscakaka from Sweden; Canelé de Bordeaux and Nougat de Tours from France) but I still enjoy making classic British recipes from time to time.

I also make a wide range of delicious gluten free cakes, tarts and brownies that are really popular (there are usually at least  three or four of these products are available from my stall each time). A selection of these are also  always available to buy at the wonderful Hubbard's Bakery in Whitstable.

 I have a stall at Whitstable Farmers Market on the 2nd & 4th Saturday of each month,
and also run the cafe there, serving a range of cakes, scones and toasted sandwiches.
